Three BioCosmos Foundation representatives delivers Public Lectures at Makerere and Kyambogo University

BioCosmos Africa, a leading organization in Africa dedicated to promoting intelligent design (ID) and its integration into educational curricula, represented by Dr. Richard Ochieng’, Fr. Martin Tanui and Dr. Lencer Ndede delivered public lectures at Kyambogo and Makerere University on 7^th and 8^th November 2023 respectively. 

Presentations:

1. Dr. Richard Ochieng’ presented an overview of BioCosmos Africa and BioCosmos Uganda, introducing the concept of intelligent design and providing examples in nature that point to intelligent causation
2. Dr. Lencer Ndede delivered a presentation on the positive case for intelligent design
3. Fr. Martin Tanui discussed the relationship between intelligent design and religion, explored the implications of intelligent design, and macro evolution theory

Panel Discussion:

Kyambogo University organised a one-hour panel discussion was held, delving deeper into the subject of intelligent design and the question of the clear-cut boundary between intelligent design and religion. The panelists included Dr. Richard Ochieng’, Fr. Martin Tanui, Dr. Lencer Ndede, all from BioCosmos Foundation and Rev. Eng. Emmanuel Mwesigwa (Chaplain, Kyambogo University). The interactive panel discussion and question & answer session provided the audience with clarification on various aspects of intelligent design.
