On 16th October 2024, a team comprising of the following members from BioCosmos Kenya delivered a public lecture at Turkana University College (TUK): Dr Richard Ochieng’ (Chairman BCK), Dr Lencer Ndede, (Coordinator BCK Students’ clubs), Fr Martin Tanui, (Treasurer BCK) and Dr Benard Mudogo, (Alumni of the 2024 International Summer Seminar in ID & Member of BCK).
The Public Lecture was officially launched by the Principal Prof. George Chemining’wa. The principal thanked BioCosmos Kenya for the partnership established between the two institutions. He indicated that the College as an institution of higher learning provides a platform for discourse in new and emerging knowledge and therefore welcomes BioCosmos Kenya for further engagement. that Faculty members from the University College who attended the lecture included the Director Postgraduate Studies Dr. Miriti Gervasio, Dean of students Rev. Jackson Iruko, Dean of Education Dr. Susan Ouko, Dr Benjamin Koross and Ms. Lilian Odeo.
The BioCosmos Kenya Team made a presentation on the following topics:
- Background of BioCosmos Africa
- An Introduction to Intelligent Design
- Methods of Design Detection
- Protein Synthesis
- Positive case for Intelligent Design
- Evolution and Intelligent Design
- Examples in Nature that Point to Intelligent Causation

The Public Lecture was followed by elaborate induction of BCKSc TUC chapter members. The function was spearheaded by Dr Ndede. During the induction, the following students from TUK were presented as interim officials: Moses Londo – Chairperson, Marylyne Isayi – Vice chair, Chebet Kiplagat – Secretary, Nicholas Karoi – Vice secretary, Stephen Musyoka – Treasurer and Philemon Nyongesa – Organizing secretary. The club patron Dr Miriti Gervasio appreciated BioCosmos Kenya for allowing Turkana University College to establish a student club affiliated to the foundation.
